Sales Account Executive

Position Description

Akvelon is seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial sales professional for our business development. The Sales Account Executive will be responsible for rapidly building relationships with businesses and technology decision-makers to present compelling Akvelon solutions that meet and exceed client requirements.

The successful candidate will have experience in developing a sales pipeline and the ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage new sales prospects and driving the sales process
  • Develop and execute respective area sales plan and build pipeline to maximize revenue
  • Provide sales forecasts and reports to management on a weekly basis
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs
  • Effectively communicate the “Big Picture” Akvelon solutions and services to clients and prospects
  • Gather intelligence on the company solution’s performance, client attitudes and competitive situations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 4+ years of sales experience

Software Development Engineer

Position Description

Akvelon is looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical knowledge coupled with expertise in building and shipping large scale projects. The Software Development Engineer will be responsible for end-to-end design, development, testing and implementation of software applications and features.

We are seeking a broad technical background, ability to drive a variety of projects, strong collaboration skills, and strong passion for results.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and implement multi-tiered applications
  • Translate functional requirements into component based technical designs
  • Provide development estimates and track project progress
  • Work closely with project managers and test engineers to improve software specification and test cases
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functionality and performance issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science required
  • 7+ years of experience in building highly-scalable applications
  • Excellent design and coding skills
  • 5+ years developing and shipping production quality C/C++ or C# code required
  • Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics family of products, SQL server, and T-SQL required
  • Strong problem solving, debugging, and unit testing skills

Technical Project Manager

Primary Responsibilities

PM will define and document objectives, scopes, estimates and deliverables, coordinate with development and test teams in US and Ukraine.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in computer science or related field
  • Experience in Project Management 3+
  • Successful experience managing several projects at the same time
  • Understanding the client’s business needs and able to transform them into product requirements
  • Skills of preparation propositions for the client
  • Experience of direct communication with the client
  • Knowledge of Project Management processes
  • Experience of leading group, planning (resources, tasks and time, etc.)
  • Knowledge of approaches to software development used by the Company as well as up-to-date approaches to software development (for example, MSF, Rational Unified Process, Extreme Programming, Agile Software Development)
  • Extensive programming experience is a plus
  • Fluent English and Russian
  • Excellent written, spoken and presentation communications skills
